Born and raised in Tampa, Florida. John Attended Jesuit High School, Berkley Preparatory School, Florida State University (MBA) and Stetson University. John Madiedo  is the driving force behind our company. Over three decades ago, John realized that the most successful people in any industry or business are those individuals who specialize in areas that are difficult and challenging. With that in mind, he directed and developed his business by focusing on those challenging industries such as taxicabs & Public Transportation.

By working directly with insurance companies to create custom programs; John was able to introduce into the market place one of the most successful insurance products of its kind in the United States. By volume, under his direction, since 1981 Professional Insurance Center is one of the top transportation agencies in the
nation. John’s expertise goes far beyond taxicabs. He also specializes in limousines, buses, shuttles, vans, sedan services and community transportation providers. Industry achievements include C.F.P. and C.L.U. destination.

After attaining his MBA and attending law school, John held positions as Advance Marketing Analyst, Policy Holder Underwriting Manager, Sales Agent and Branch Manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 5 years, before opening Professional Insurance Center, Inc. with his wife and business partner Debbie Madiedo in 1981.

John is a member of the Independent Agents of America, Trusted Choice Agency, The Florida Association Of Insurance Agents, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tampa, and is on the National Board of Florida State University. He is also an associate member of (NLA) National Limousine Association, and (TLPA) Taxicab Limousine And Para Transit Association. Let John use his experience to serve your insurance needs.
